Mr. & Mrs. Williams

I might’ve gotten a little excessively emotional at this wedding. You see, Morgan has been a part of our lives since I photographed her family back when she was a senior in high school. Somehow or another, she and Jess hit it off and have been close friends the whole time Morgan was in college. Then over the last year, she has kept our kids at least a couple of days a week so that Jess could keep up with work here at the studio. And since Eden has come home, she’s gone with me to a dozen or more weddings so Jess could spend more time at home with the girls. Basically, she’s a part of us, and when she came down the aisle to the the same song we had at our wedding – I just couldn’t hold it together.

Drew grew up living in Indonesia–the same country God used to radically shape me after spending a summer there in college. He’s a strong leader and will, no doubt, lead Morgan on an incredibly journey in this lifetime as they serve others in sharing the light of Christ. Together, they’re a powerhouse team who have already impacted hundreds of lives.

So, you get it – I like these two humans. And maybe that’s why I like these photos so much.

(Venue – Cotton Market, Florals – Morgan’s mom [amazing job, Ms. Paula!]. And special thanks to Chase for shooting this wedding with me… there are some perks to working for followell fotography for a year and having he and I both shoot your wedding is one of them I guess. Several of the photos in this post are his.)
