Mr. & Mrs. Magers

I’m not altogether sure what combination of factors makes some weddings have more “moments” than others, but it definitely has something to do with a couple who focuses less on themselves and more on the people around them. In those situations, you can’t help but feel the warmth, love, and romance in the photographs from the wedding and this was undeniably the case at Holly & Andrew’s wonderful fall wedding.

Everything sort of “fit” – the venue was this old house with overwhelming character, the light that day was soft and warm, the wedding party brought laughter and love all day long, and Holly & Andrew are unmistakably happiest around one another. So, all in all, my job was pretty easy. Take a look and hopefully you can see what I mean:

Of course the girls are having this beautiful, spiritual moment (above) while the guys were doing stuff like this (below):

I’m not at all sure what’s happening in this photo but I can’t help but laugh out loud when I look at all of the expressions…

Lovely… absolutely heart-warming. I truly love each shot, but my favorite is of Wick and Sally in the white chairs before the wedding; their marriage is a big reason why Holly can have the romance she does. I get this sinking feeling–a heavy sense of loss–each time I remember that I missed sharing this day with the Mallalieus/Magers. So I am doubly thankful for the gift of talented photographers today!
