Lots of change is happening at followell | fotography, and as good as it all is, it’s a bittersweet announcement I’ve got to make. Sally, my studio manager for the last year, will no longer be working with us. She’s worked so hard and has done so much good in her time with me. But, it was time to transition the studio management role into the hands of the only other person who’s been a part of followell | fotography since day one: my incredible sidekick and wife, Jessica. While we’re not sure if this will be a permanent arrangement (Jess might decide staying home full-time with Meg is all she cares to do) but for now, I think the business is going to benefit greatly from having Jess around in a more dynamic way.
Added to that, with the change in personnel I thought it was time to refine some of my processes and client care procedures, so, we’re fine tuning things a bit and implementing a brand new studio management software program that will help keep all of us running a heck of a lot more smoothly as we get it up and going.
All this to say, we welcome your patience as we work towards improving on just about every area of how we handle clients and getting Jess trained to take on the many tasks that Sally has been handling for so long. Turnaround times have slipped only a little, and it’s been a lot of long days for me, but, it’s all been worth it to see how much more we’re going to be able to do for YOU.
So, now that’s out of the way, I wanted to show off this hot new studio manager with some pictures! And, of course, Jess just had to bring Meg along. :) I’m so glad she did, because, despite the fact that it was suuuuper hot, Meg was sleepy and hungry (a scary combo), we scored one of my favorite pictures I’ve ever made (it’s the last one–gotta build the suspense) ;)
Anyway, here is my new studio manager, joined by my other favorite girl; the two ladies in my life who have become inseparable best friends…
And here, an image I’ll never quit loving:
