miriam & michael | ENGAGED

Man, I love Miriam and Michael. My friendship with Miriam began in high school when we both sang in a Mississippi youth choir (I can’t believe I just admitted that I was a choir nerd in high school on my blog.) We were basically instant friends. Michael and I really didn’t become close until he started dating Miriam, but, after their six years of dating (this wedding has been a lonnnng time comin) we’ve grown just as close. Their wedding is only a few weeks away, now, and I can assure you it will be one that stands out in my memory for a long time. Even after all the weddings I’ve been apart of, I’m still amazed at how powerful it is to see two people unite their lives… and it will be especially powerful among Michael & Miriam, two of my closest friends.

Their engagement session was a little bit of a challenge for me because I kept finding myself wanting to just hang out and forgetting that I had to deliver great pictures. However, we somehow managed to laugh a lot, talk constantly, and still capture some photos that (I hope) showcase the energy in the love between these two best friends.

Oh, and Michael, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope this blog post makes for a great start to your day!

I absolutely love the Webb family and your pics of Michael and Miriam are perfect…and being a theater nerd, myself, I love the one in front of the Ellis. These pics so capture the essence of these two. Alas, I will be in Africa on November 5th, so I will count on your Robbie to capture the day in a way that I can pretend I was there….
