Mr. & Mrs. Kersey

I love Katie and Bobby.

I hope they still love me after taking foreverrrrr to blog their wedding day. It can be hard, sometimes, to mix friendships and clientships, but Katie was an ideal bride–even despite Jess and my long-standing friendship with her. Katie’s known by her laughter, and that’s the perfect attribute for everyone to know her by, for she is a joyful spirit in any room and loves deeply and loudly those that call her friend. Bobby was pretty new to the scene for all of Katie’s college friends, but he won us all with his calm demeanor and Godly convictions. And he prizes Katie, which is exactly what she deserves.

Their wedding day was a classy one that took place in Memphis, Katie’s hometown. It was a day with plenty of familiar faces (lots of new ones, too) and a kickin’ reception where friends old and new let loose and had a great time. Here’s some of my favorites from their big day…

You can just barely make out the silhouette of the bride and groom… can you find ’em?

I’m not sure what cool kid started the trend of running around the bride and groom during their first dance, but, it was the thing to do at this reception…

…annnnnd on to some FOTOBOOTH fun…

The cutie on the far right is Katie’s niece. Not sure if she’s fully aware at this point of the implications of the gesture she’s delivering…

My wife and my sweet in-laws loving on their soon-to-be-here granddaughter…
