I’m in love with the pictures from this wedding day. Katie & Josh have been on my calendar for QUITE some time–over a year, I think. I’ve gotten to know the bride’s family quite well–we’re from the same home town and I went to school with Katie’s brother–and love every minute I get to spend with that family. Katie’s mom a bit of a photographer herself, and so I knew I had some pressure. Fortunately, these two are incredibly in love, perfectly photogenic, and completely calm… my job was easy.
This wedding shows, I believe, how much awesomeness can be captured when the bride & groom really values the photography more than any old tradition about seeing one another before the ceremony. Instead, I had all the time in the world to capture the beauty of the love between these two people. Thanks, you two, for letting me have so much time to do what I love doing…
