news from the studio.

Well, if you’ve been my client in the last 2 years, you know that my strengths are not:

1) Responding to e-mails.

2) The SCHEDULING of photo sessions.

3) Invoicing/paperwork/deadline adherence.

I have no problem admitting that these, among others, are business-related weaknesses of mine. Fortunately, God didn’t make everybody the same, and, He actually made some people who LIVE to keep things organized, work around deadlines, and talk smack to photographers who sometimes get lazy. Enter: MY NEWLY-HIRED OFFICE MANAGER, HEATHER VINES!

The beauty of my friendship with Heather is that her husband (of only three weeks) is my best friend from college. Heather and I have joked for years about her being my first employee. And in God’s very gracious manner, He’s worked it out for her to be just that. I wanted all of you to know that when you start getting e-mails from a “” and when you call the studio and hear, “followell fotography this is Heather” that it’s still the same business… only better.

For you prospective clients out there, Heather’s gonna be your best friend. She’ll be handling most of my scheduling, and so any booking correspondence should be directed her way (see e-mail address above).

Anyway, we had some fun takin pics yesterday… wanted you guys to get to know her a little…

Hello, my name is Heather and I spent an outrageous amounts of money to get not ONE BUT TWO degrees in social work so I could go play in photography with my two best friends everyday. Eventually, maybe.

    LOVE YOU!!!
