There are several things that make up a great photo shoot: 1) a beautiful location, 2) a couple who is easy to photograph–not only because of their appearance but also their personality, and 3) nice weather. Fortunately for this shoot, all those things occurred and the shoot couldn’t have been any more pleasant.
Dr. Orlando Ly is my mother-in-law’s acupuncturist. He and his new bride, Susan, got married in early May, but because I was already booked on their wedding day, they decided to do some post-wedding portraits. I was in the Memphis area for the July 4th holiday, and we worked this session in just prior to my holiday plans of pool time, cookin out, and hanging out with Jess’ fam. It was wonderful getting to know these two very kind and generous people.
